The image on the right shows one of our Rain Flush Kits installed in a  configuration using a "Y" fitting instead of a "T" fitting. This allows for a much more compact installation. notice the garden hose connected to the bottom of the chamber. in an installation where there is not a large roof area, this can just be diverted to where you want to take the dirty water. This installation will not collect any leaves, branches or any other large items. It has a gutter hood installed that allows for the water and small particles to go down the downspout, but the larger items are taken away off of the roof. The gutters on this roof have not been cleaned in over a year, even though there are several redwood trees directly over it. The gutters are still perfectly clean.

This image shows a variation of a Fist Flush Diverter that we call a Two Stage Diverter. The water is filtered once in the first flush and then any other particles are settled out in the second chamber before the water goes to the remote tanks. Notice that there is no barrel in this picture. The Two Stage Diverter lends itself well to remote tank placement. You don't need to have unsightly barrels where you don't want them. Look for a kit on this site soon for this design!
